Canterbury, NH — October 6, 2025 — The Jake Deware Kindness Project celebrated another successful year of community, compassion, and connection at its 5th Annual Golf Tournament, presented by Rowell’s Services, held on September 27, 2025 at Canterbury Woods Country Club. The event raised $30,000, bringing the total funds raised over the past five years to more than $136,000 in support of local youth and community kindness initiatives.
The annual tournament, held in memory of Jake Deware, continues to honor his legacy of generosity and friendship by funding scholarships, youth programs, and community acts of kindness throughout the Lakes Region and beyond.
“Every year, this event reminds us of the incredible power of community,” said Mandie Hagan, owner of Rowell’s Services and longtime supporter of the event. “Jake’s kindness continues to ripple through every laugh, every connection, and every dollar raised. We’re proud to be part of something that brings people together for such a meaningful cause.”
Participants enjoyed a full day of golf, camaraderie, and celebration, featuring contests, raffles, and an awards dinner. The event’s success was made possible thanks to the generosity of local sponsors, volunteers, and attendees who came together to make a difference.
This year’s funds will continue to fuel the Jake Deware Kindness Project’s mission—supporting scholarships for local students, promoting acts of kindness, and uplifting individuals and families in need across the community.
Since its inception, the Jake Deware Kindness Project Golf Tournament has become a cherished local tradition. With over $136,000 raised in just five years, the event continues to grow, spreading Jake’s spirit of compassion and making a lasting positive impact on countless lives.
